Let it snow, just not on Carter!

It snowed on Friday and we were so excited. I just knew that Carter would love the snow and making a snow man. So as soon as brother went down for his nap we got all bundled up in our coats, hats, and gloves to go play in the snow. After 3 steps unto the porch Carter wanted to go back inside. I tried to show him how much fun it was, I showed him a snowball, showed him how to catch it with his tongue, and nothing. "Mommy, I want to go inside!" I was so disappointed, I was looking forward to all our fun snow day pictures. Well instead, this is what we have to remember the first snow of 2009!
Yeah for Snow!
He wanted to ride his bike but couldn't do so very well considering the sidewalk was covered in snow!
This is how he felt about the cold, snowy day!

Santa Clause

On Thursday I took the boys to go see Santa Clause!
Aren't they precious in their matching shirts!
Santa: Carter, what do you want for Christmas?
Carter: I dunno.
Santa: Have you been a good boy this year?
Carter: I dunno.
Collin's first time in Santa's lap!
He loved looking at Santa, I think he was trying to plot how to get a hold of his beard!

Sesame Street Live

On Wednesday we went with our friends the Ryden's to go see Sesame Street Live!
As you can see the boys were not interested in taking their picture!
Canyon, Skyler, and Carter waiting anxiously for the show to begin!
Big Bird!
The cast singing and dancing!
Skyler trying to bum popcorn off Carter because her Mommy told her she couldn't have any! Too cute!

We had a great time and Carter loved telling Daddy all about the BIG ERNIE and the BIG ElMO.

Thanksgiving 2009

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We stayed in M-town and made the rounds to our family that lives here. We have so much to be thankful for. When we woke up on Thursday morning, Carter came and crawled in the bed with us. We laid there and talked about all the things we had to be thankful for. We talked about his family, his home, his toys, his school, and his church. We are so thankful for these things but most of all we are thankful for our Lord Jesus Christ.
Collin's thanksgiving plate!
Collin getting ready for his first Thanksgiving dinner!
Carter and his cousin Faith enjoying their Turkey! (and yes Carter is eating a whole turkey leg)
He loves drumsticks! He eats them down to the bone like a grown man!
My Family, whom I am the most thankful for!
These are the matching outfits I made the boys for Thanksgiving! I have to say I was really proud of myself! Aren't the adorable?
