House Progress

Have you been curious how the house is coming along? Anxious to see the changes that have been made? I will let you see for yourself!

This is the kitchen. You can see where the concrete has been chipped away to the brick. (remember we have concrete walls) This was stage one of this wall redo!

We were afraid the wall would not be strong enough to hold the cabinets so we decided to go ahead and sheet rock the kitchen wall. This is stage two of the wall redo!

Well what do you think? Things are moving along and lots of things have gotten done but we have also run into lots of problems. The walls are a nightmare. We have run into one problem after another. I would tell you about it but I don't understand it. HB and Grandpa are working frantically every time they get a chance but time is just running out. Our February deadline is approaching quickly. So STRESSFUL, doesn't do justice to what we are feeling right now. On the other hand, we are so blessed. We are blessed because we have great friends and family who have come to help us when they can. We are blessed because we get to Trust the LORD and believe that he will provide a way for this to get done.
So we are stressed and we are blessed!

Our Trip to Weatherford!

Last week the boys and I spent the week at my parent's house. My brother and his family came down for the weekend and we had a great time letting our kiddos play. My Mimi was also at my Mom's so I enjoyed spending precious time with her as well. Here are some pictures of our week in Weatherford:

He is getting so big, we have moved up to size 3 diapers, a bigger paci, and 12 month clothes!

This is the conversation we had,

Carter: "Mommy, I'm a workin man"

Me: "you are?"

Carter:  "Mommy, your not a workin man!"

Movie Night!

Last weekend we took Carter to his first movie. We went to see Toy Story in 3D. Carter had never been to the movie theatre before so we weren't sure how he would do. He loved it!

He was so excited to be going to the "Movie Feeder".

He love the big bag of popcorn that goes along with seeing a movie! We were waiting for the movie to start and he kept yelling, as if we aren't sitting right beside him, "Daddy, where's Woody?"

This is during intermission between the the two movies. You can see that his popcorn is half way gone. It was so cute, Chris and I had to help hold his seat down because he wasn't heavy enough to keep it from folding up. Oh, and by the way, he watched the whole thing a tad bit blurry because he refused to wear the 3D glasses. It was lots of fun, and we look forward to going to the movie feeder again soon.

When I found out I was pregnant with Collin I felt like I was jumping on the band wagon. I had several friends who were pregnant at the same time. My childhood best friend, Kristina, had her little boy three weeks before Collin.

Out of my group of girlfriends from church four or us were all pregnant at the same time. So we now have four babies all within 6 months of each other. Collin is the only boy so he will have a great selection of girls to choose from. The youngest baby, Rebecca, was born just a week and a half ago. The other night was our first oppurtunity to have all the babies together.

My friend Lesley had her little girl Brooke just 7 weeks before I had Collin. I have already planned an arranged marriage between the two of them. ;) So I always love to get pictures of them together. Here is how it played out........
