25 Weeks Pregnant!

Well I am 25 weeks pregnant and things are going along well.  He will be precious I know. He seems to be pretty calm, I don't feel him to much. Maybe because I'm so busy chasing his brother around all day. ;) We are getting really excited and anxious as the time draws near. I cherish all my time with Carter while it is still just the two of us. I feel so blessed that in just a few short months I will have another precious baby to hold in my arms.

Girl's Weekend in El Paso!

Girls Weekend El Paso, Tx.
Beth Moore Conference!

These are 9 of my very closest friends. I feel so blessed that I get to call them friend. Each of these women are amazing women of God and encourage me in my walk with the Lord.

We were waiting outside of PF Chang's for 2 hours to eat. We did get free appetizers out of the whole deal and in the end the food was defiantly worth the wait. In this picture it is Emmy, Lesley ( my belly buddy), and of course me!

Puddin Birthday Party!

Sunday was Carter's Birthday party. We had a train party since that is what he likes. We had so much fun and he got lots of new toys.

Honey Bun's 24th B-Day

Chris's turned 24 on Saturday. We had some guys over for poker and pizza to celebrate.

I had big plans to make a cool poker cake but instead I just made a cake and put some chips and cards on it. Guys don't care. It turned out cute I thought.

President Bush's Homecoming!

Last Tuesday after waiting in line for over an hour and then not even being sure they would let us in the gates, we made it there to see our 43rd president, George W Bush. We were in the very back and couldn't see well at all. But we could see him on the screen. Proof that we were there ;).

My sister M and my niece came with us.

Even though he had no idea why we were there it will be neat to tell Carter one day that he was there the day the president came to town.

I had told him that afternoon that we were going to see the president. Little did I know until we got there that he misunderstood me and thought I said we are going to see presents. Disappointment fell all over his face when he realized there were no presents to open.

My Baby is 2!

These were his 1 year old pictures. He wasn't a happy camper. Aww and look how cute he was with his paci!

Here he is at his 1st birthday party. He was ready to dig in.

This is the day of his 2nd birthday. We went to Chuck E Cheese. He had so much fun.

He got to work on his basketball skills with Daddy. Look at that form!

Friday was Carter's 2nd birthday. I can't believe it. That my precious baby boy is 2 years old. I can't even wrap my brain around where the time has gone. We got out pictures from the day he was born and showed them to him as well as the pictures of everyone who came to see him. I don't know that he knew that the baby in those pictures was him or not but he still had fun looking at them. As I shifted through all of those memories the reality that they don't stay babies forever sank in very deeply. We have gone from nursing, pasi's, sippy cups, baby bed, and stroller to talking, using a juice box, big boy bed, and singing. And before we know it the diapers will be gone too. Every milestone is quickly followed by another and before you know it your approaching their second birthday party. I feel so blessed that we have been given the opportunity to experience all these things again with our next little one but a since of sadness still lingers when I think about how fast the time has gone. He and I have our "Special Time" when he wakes up after nap and is still really groggy. We sit in the rocker and rock until he has had the chance to really wake up. The past week as we have spent that time together I try to absorb every minute. Because I know that there are only a few months left where it will just the two of us. O, how all our lives are about to change!
